The black box recorded the pilot speaking about a lot of icing two minutes before it fell.

The black box similarly talked about how the de-icing system that stops ice build-up on the wings was malfunctioning including switching on and off several times as indicated in the report.

Both the pilot and the commander spoke of the same issue and how there were issues with the airframe system. They were talking through the communication system about this. We then saw the investigative team stop short of stating that this reported failure is what caused it to fall in the end.

Meanwhile, weather reports on that particular day also spoke about ice formation in the area where the plane happened to be flying. As per the findings from the crashed jet, loss of speed alerts were also triggered. Still, the Voepass crew never declared any emergency before the plane plummeted into the ground.
